April 3, 2009 (Afternoon)

Allie is doing really well today. We got to put our hands inside the incubator and rest one hand on her chest for a while today. That seems to soothe her while we are there and she hears us talking. She is up to 725 grams (1lb., 9.5oz), which is really good--we're creeping up to that 2lb mark where we might be able to hold her. She likes her milk so much she now gets 1.5cc every hour, which might account for her weight gain--the girl likes to eat apparently! :)
