Allison is doing better tonight. Her blood work came back good except for one elevated number, but Dr. Esparza feels that alone is not really an indication of anything wrong (infection, etc.) since she has no other indicators. So, they will repeat the tests tomorrow, since by then any other indicators should show up. They really think her episodes today were due to the breathing treatments, she appears to not be tolerating the medicine well. Since this is the second medication they have tried, they are going to change tactics and start lowering her ventilator settings so that she can get off it sooner.
