As you can see, Allison Marie was wide awake today! She had a really good day--she had very good blood work results this morning--first time ever there has been no sign of infection so she gets off her antibiotics--yay!! Her lung x-ray was much better this morning, too. Her blood gases were a little off, so today she got a new and bigger vent tube that will help her breath better--she is getting to be such a big girl she outgrew her other one, which is a great sign. She is tolerating her increased calorie feedings pretty well, her tummy was definitely full today. :) She got a follow up head ultrasound and x-ray this afternoon, we should get the results from those tonight.

ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing it was to see Allison! She is getting SO much bigger and stronger! That little rascal seemed quite happy each time the nurse had to come over to fix something that she had done...pulling off sensors, kicking the blanket off, ect., ect. Now if she could have only gotten her finger just a little more under that one tube then it would have made her day! :) She is so adorable!
