Allison was a bit sleepy today as you can see. She was actually pretty awake and alert when we got there, but tired out quickly--all those "big girl" feedings (can you say food coma??) and the excitement of visitors (Grandma & Grandpa) must have gotten to her. She has gone down on her oxygen flow rate and percentage, which is great, and she only had 3 little apnea spells during the night. Her blood gas this morning was also one of her better ones. She lost 5 grams yesterday, she is 1180 grams today (2lb, 9.8oz), but Dr. Esparza says that is due to all the work she is doing breathing on her own and her new feeding schedule--she should start to gain weight again as her feedings increase.
She sure has sleeping down to an art! Don't cha think? What a sweety pie.
