May 14, 2009 Morning

Allison had a great night. The charge nurse slipped up when I called this morning and said "Allison is looking after Nancy tonight"--we think that's probably pretty accurate--she's keeping an eye on those nurses! Her blood gas was good this morning and she had some additional blood work done to check her electrolytes--Dr. Esparza is checking to see if she can be changed to the next step up of formula ("big girl formula"). She weighed 1425g today 3lb, 2oz.), so she's back on track gaining 50 grams yesterday. Of course, this was before she finally had a big poop-ha ha! Isn't she gonna love these entries when she's a teenager??? :)
