June 23, 2009 Afternoon

Allison is doing great! She has been moved up to 2 of 3 feedings being bottle feedings, so we'll see how it goes. She had a developmental consult and they felt she was doing just fine and was ready to advance. We are cautiously optimistic that she'll be able to stay on this schedule this time and hopefully advance to every feeding next week. They discontinued her Reglan medication yesterday and she seems to be doing good with her digestion, though she did spit up a bit today, which is completely normal. Mommy even got a lesson from the Respiratory Therapist on giving her breathing treatments, which she may still need once a day or so when she comes home. Per Dr. Esparza, they are going to consider moving her treatments to every 9 hours vs. every 6 since she seems to be doing better.
