June 14, 2009 Morning

Allison had a really good night. she had no apnea spells and she took 2 feedings in a row with a bottle and did great with them. That is the first time she has done two in a row and taken all 50+cc's. The NICU staff is cautiously optimistic that she just might be getting the hang of it. She is still requiring a bit more oxygen than usual, but it is down a little from yesterday. We are all hoping that as she gets the feeding thing down, her breathing will improve. She is a big girl today, too--2182 grams (4lb, 13 oz.)!!
